Painting is central to my existence. I’ve reached a time in my life where I am confident that whatever the distractions I will continue to paint. Though I can rationalise what I do and why, it goes far deeper than any explanation I can give. However, there are few patterns I can see in myself, for instance, the need to challenge myself; I am not satisfied by the mundane or wanting to repeat what I do just because it demonstrates a level of competence. This challenge goes beyond what I do and moves into how I challenge the viewer.

I am exhibiting my latest work, Southwark Psalter, in an exhibition at the G11 gallery from the 30 of September to 2 October 2016. Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, South Bank, London SE1 9PH. Please follow this link for more details.
